The story of Qubool Hai revolves around a modern, vibrant, new- age girl
named Zoya. Zoya is apprehensive as her sister, Zeenat and
brother-in-law, Anwar have chosen a groom for her to marry.
At
Ayaan's residence, the family is excited as a prospective groom would be
coming to see Nikhat. Nikhat's mother, Shirin, calls her husband,
Rashid, and asks him to arrive home as soon as possible. Nikhat is
apprehensive as she believes that she would get rejected due to her dark
complexion. Ayaan brings a lavish outfit for Nikhat. Despite of knowing
that Ayaan is a casanova, Humaira gets elated when he flatters her.
Back
at Zeenat's house, Anwar states that it was not correct on their part
to bring Zoya to India on the pretext of a vacation. He believes that
Zeenat should not have convinced Zoya to marry as she may find it
difficult to adjust with the lifestyle.
The gathering gets
shocked when Zoya refuses to accept Akram as her husband. Out of fear,
Zoya rushes to her room. Anwar follows Zoya. Zoya apologises to Anwar
for rejecting the marriage alliance. Anwar convinces Zoya to run away.
In
order to help the underprivileged children, Azad plays the guitar and
collects money. The story takes an interesting turn when destiny brings
Ayaan, Azad and Zoya near a wrecked building.
